Usher drops off Black Coffee collaboration “LaLaLa”

ABC/Fred WatkinsUsher is brewing up a sizzling hot return to music with his latest effort, “LaLaLa.”

Teaming up with South African DJ and producer Black Coffee, the R&B veteran adds his sultry vocals to the record’s afro-fusion groove.

“LaLaLa” marks the first release of 2019 for Usher and follows his 2018 collaborative project, A, with Zaytoven. That eight-track set was released in honor of the singer’s 40th birthday last October.

As previously reported, Usher is rumored to be readying a sequel to his seminal album Confessions. Earlier this year, he shared photos of himself in the studio along with longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri, who produced the original release. The snapshot included a whiteboard which read “Confessions 2” and an apparent track listing.
