Drake drops off two new singles in celebration of Toronto Raptors' NBA championship

Ethan Miller/Getty Images via ABCAs promised, to celebrate his home team the Toronto Raptors winning the NBA Finals, Drake has released two brand new tracks.

One is called “Omertà” and the other is called “Money in the Grave;” that one features Rick Ross.

“THE CHIP TO THE 6!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE YOU 2MRW WITH A 2 PACK LETS GOOOOOO,” Drake wrote on Instagram late last week announcing the singles’ impending arrival. 

In a post-game interview, Drizzy gushed about the unforgettable moment for his city, “We did this off of heart. We did this off of love.”

He added, “We willed this into existence. We manifested this. I told you the first time. People like to make memes—make another meme out of this. It’s beautiful.”

The Raptors took the NBA title on June 13, after beating the Golden State Warriors. It marks the first time they’ve ever won a championship.

In addition to the new music, the 6 God will also be releasing commemorative OVO-Raptors championship merchandise at some point in the near future.

Drizzy also explained in a celebratory Instagram Live session that he’s been tapped to help design the team’s championship rings.
