After a dispute with a security guard on Wednesday morning, Atlanta rapper T.I. was arrested by police in Henry County, Georgia.
Police tell Atlanta ABC affiliate WSB-TV that T.I., born Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested around 4 a.m. after returning to his gated community.
A WSB reporter also posted T.I.’s mugshot on Twitter.
According to police, the rapper didn’t have his key and the guard wouldn’t let him in.
After allegedly asking the guard “Don’t you know who I am?”, T.I. later called a friend.
At some point during the exchange, the Henry County Police Department was called to the scene and T.I. and his friend, who were both said to be arguing with the guard, were arrested.
According to police, T.I.’s friend had a warrant out for his arrest. T.I. was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness and has since been released.
ABC News has reached out to T.I’s camp for comment.
