Have Birdman and Lil Wayne squashed their beef with a hug?

A fan captured footage of the two hugging it out in public on Sunday. TMZ says that the Birdman and Wayne’s reunion took place at the LIV nightclub in Miami.

As previously reported, Lil Wayne filed a $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money in 2014, claiming he’s owed an advance on his long-delayed Tha Carter V album, as well as additional royalties.

In October, Birdman responded to critics complaining about his contract dispute with Weezy in an 11-minute profanity-laced Instagram Live rant.

“I be hearing all you n***** talking about this Lil Wayne s***. Lil Wayne this, Lil Wayne that. B****, Lil Wayne my son. I raised him. He ain’t had nothing, I brought him to be something and got something. B***, you think I ain’t gonna make sure he straight?” he said in the video.

Following Birdman’s video, Maybach Music head Rick Ross came to Wayne’s rescue with a response of his own.

“Pay that man his money, we know you ain’t right,” Ross said. “Stop with the jokes. Bring that s***. Bring it.”

Lil Wayne’s lawsuit against Birdman has yet to be settled.
